Meet The Team

Founder & CEO
Charlotte Lorens
Charlotte is the founder and director of The Piano Palace and has been teaching piano for over 10 years. She began learning piano at a young age and developed a deep connection to the instrument, which shaped her thoughtful and student-centred approach to teaching. After experiencing both unhelpful and exceptional lessons herself, Charlotte created her own method of teaching that focuses on clear structure, meaningful understanding, and efficient practice. She holds a wide range of teaching and musicianship certificates, including AMEB, ABRSM, Rockschool, Trinity, Theory of Music, Music Craft, and Musicianship qualifications. Charlotte is the creator of The Piano Palace resources and programs, designed to support students of all ages without the need for a fancy piano or prior musical background, and is passionate about creating a warm, encouraging environment where students feel supported, confident, and genuinely connected to their music.
